Award-Winning Keystone Theatre brings their new darkly funny silent film inspired play GOLD FEVER to the 2014 Toronto Fringe Festival, beginning July 2nd.
Set in a barren and brutal landscape where fortunes are made and hearts are broken, GOLD FEVER explores how the dream of striking it rich brings out the best and the worst in people. Brilliant physical comedy and the spirit of the Klondike combine as Keystone brings unique characters and their stories to life. Played in the silent film style with no spoken dialogue, the voice of the piece is the original musical score played live by our award winning Music Director, David Atkinson.
Collectively created by the ensemble. It is performed by Phil Rickaby, Stephen LaFrenie, Sarah Joy Bennett, Dana Fradkin, Richard Beaune, Christol Bryan and David Atkinson, directed by Richard Beaune, stage managed by Parker Nowlan and designed by Kimberly Beaune. Music Direction by David Atkinson.
