About Phil

Phil Rickaby is an Actor, Web geek and Author, based in Toronto, Canada.  He is also the Artistic Director of Simple Truth Theatre Company. Here, you will find information about projects, both old and new.

Phil is a graduate of the Performing Arts program at George Brown College. He has been seen previously in such roles as Touchstone in As You Like It, followed by Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, both with In the Moment Productions; The Player in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead with Simple Truth Theatre; The Ghost, Player, and Gravedigger in Hamlet with Tempest Theatre Group; Vic the Sound Guy in Simple Truth Theatre’s The Really Bad Ballet; The Bishop of York in Shakespeare’s Lost Play: Edmund Ironside with Simple Truth and Firebrand Theatre; and John in The Stranger as part of Alumnae Theatre’s New Ideas Festival.

Recently, Phil has appeared in such films as So You’ve Decided to be Attacked by Zombies and More than Skeletons, both with Between Worlds Films; Behind Closed Doors with Homeless Productions, and Dragonquest with Film Friday.
