This is a thing: June 9 2015

This-is-a-thing-Podcast-ImageAn experiment in podcasting. I’m walking to work, and during the walk, I record a podcast episode. This is the first episode.

Episode 1: Let’s talk about writing, specifically, my writing. And let’s talk about a play I wrote called The Parliamentarians.

Note: the podcast isn’t on itunes yet. I hear that its a good idea to have three published episodes before submitting to itunes, so I’m going to do that. I’ll let you know when its available on itunes. In case, you know, you wanted to subscribe to listen to my rambling.

Let’s do the podcast again

A while back, I hosted a podcast in which I spoke to people in Canadian theatre. I got to speak to peers, friends, acquaintances and a couple of my theatre heroes. But there was a certain financial burden to producing a podcast that I could not shoulder at the time, so I had to stop and give it up.

But I’ve been thinking lately about how much I miss doing it. So, I’m going to do it again.

I’m now looking for people to interview. The only requirements are that a) you work in theatre and b) that you do so in Canada or c) are a Canadian working abroad. If that describes you, I’d love to talk to you. And don’t worry if you don’t live in Toronto, there are ways around that.

If you’d like to be interviewed, you can contact me here, or you can contact me on Twitter.
