This month, my writing playlist consists almost entirely of songs by Break of Reality, a band made up of three cellos and a percussionist. Â I can’t listen to songs with lyrics when I’m writing, and this group fulfills my requirements perfectly. All instrumental, all the time. Evocative. Inspirational. But not somber. Just what I need.
